From Trend Analysis to Academic Educator.
This is a personal space used to reflect and develop ideas in and around fashion. The ongoing themes are personal projects and creative endeavors often in collaboration with others forming a vibrant and exciting, creative community.
My journey started as a Menswear Designer dabbling with Trend Analysis in the mid 90’s and has included Personal Brands, Freelance Design, Creative Consultancy and of course, Traditional Design Roles. Education has always played an important role in the development of many skills adding to the interest as a social commentator through fashion and design.
The Convenience Store has played a pivotal part of my career to date, forming strong bonds toward retail, buying, product, environment, visual merchandising and business. The TCS community extended from established designers to those starting out with all in between including a diverse range of artists, customers and creatives.
Currently my role as Course Director of the MA Fashion at Kingston University allows me to pass on some of these experiences in a vibrant, young, energetic and insightful environment as well as directing tomorrows talent toward their personal goals and aspirations.
The projects on this site will cover the following areas – but who knows, there may be a few more.
